The International Union of Women Architects (UIFA), founded in 1963 by IAWA's Board of Advisors member Solange d'Herbez de la Tour, convened its 12th Congress in Tokyo, Japan on September 1, 1998. The theme of the Congress, "People, Architecture, and Cities in an Age of Harmony with the Environment," was discussed in 56 presentations and displayed in 43 exhibition panels. This collection consists of exhibition panels prepared by Junko
Matsukawa-Tsuchida.
