BIOGRAPHY
Marilia Sant'Anna de Almeida studied at the Urban and Architecture College, São Paulo University (USP), São Paulo, Brazil; graduating in 1972. In 1984, she completed her master's degree also at Urban and Architecture College, São Paulo University. Her early work (1978-1985) focused on several residences in Riviera Paulista and São Paulo. Later work (1987-1998) shifted to designing offices, studios and away from designing residences.
Between 1998-2000 she collaborated with Architect Paulo S. L. F. Silveira on eight Ibis hotels:
- Ibis Hotel Piracicaba, 1999/2000
- Ibis Hotel Goiânia, 1999/2000
- Ibis Hotel São Carlos, 1999/2000
- Ibis Hotel Manaus, 1999
- Ibis Hotel Paulínia, 1999
- Ibis Hotel São José dos Campos, 1998
- Ibis Hotel Sorocaba, 1998
