Astronomer. Received a B. S. degree from Yale in 1934 and a D. Phil. in Astronomy from Oxford University in 1938. His career has included teaching stints at Wesleyan, Chicago, UCLA, and other universities, and and government service with the Naval Ordnance Lab, Operations Research Office, and NASA. Was recruited by the Manned Spacecraft Center in 1968 to teach astronomy to the astronauts and to work on the S201 far ultra-violet camera used in the Apollo and Skylab programs. Papers include offprints of published articles, typescript copies of speeches, and reports. The balance of Page's papers have been willed to the Virginia Tech Libraries.
