Fredi Hairston, a sophomore statistics and sociology major from Roanoke, is this week's pert papermate. Fredi is an active co-ed, and a member of the "Virginia Tech University" Choir, VPI Human Relations Council, and the Activities Committee of West Eggleston. When asked how she would improve Virginia Tech, Fredi said, "I would increase the co-operation among the different departments to create a better university atmosphere." Concerning her favorite attractions at Tech, Fredi likes "the people in the Architecture Department." Her pet peeves include the drillfield and the food at Owens Hall. Our papermate is also the proud owner of a new column in the Virginia Tech..."Back Talk." Look for it! Text and image from the Virginia Tech, October 11, 1967. note: Ms. Hairston also used the spelling 'Fredi.' Return to: Freddie Hairston home page |
