All Blacksburg business houses, with the exception of drug stores, filling stations, restaurants, etc., have agreed 100 per cent to close their places of business on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m., beginning May 5 and continuing through August 25.
This move is made to cooperate with the National Program of a Victory Garden by all and other work which the federal government may require of each community. This is fostered by Blacksburg Community Federation through its proper committees.
