In 1986 a false front added in the early twentieth century partially fell into the street and was removed entirely, allowing the partial restoration undertaken by the owner. The molded brick cornice is typical of other buildings in the county built in the mid-nineteenth century. The Baptists and Methodists also built important church buildings which, unfortunately, no longer stand.
