The earliest domestic structures remaining in the district include the two-story, one-room log Adam Croy House, on the northeast side of Penn Street, seen on the bottom, and the similar Spout Spring House on the top, an intact two-room structure of two stories. They are part of a small group of one- and two-room log dwellings standing alone or incorporated into later dwellings in the district and town-at-large.
