  Entertainment Commencement Celebration Buffet, Friday, May 3, 5:00-8:00

  p.m., Eggleston Lawn.  The 1991 graduates invite you to celebrate the occa-

  sion at an outdoor dinner buffet highlighted by live entertainment.  Please

  see order form for ticket purchase information.  Limited ticket availabil-

  ity.

 

  The New Virginians Commencement Show, Friday, May 3, 8:00 pm, Burruss Audi-

  torium. Virginia Tech's Musical Ambassadors welcome graduating students and

  their guests to a special commencement tribute. This spectacular musical

  review features talented Tech students in the best of Broadway, Top-40, mu-

  sical nostalgia, and patriotic specialty numbers, along with a special mu-

  sical tribute to our graduates.

 

  Please note:  Tickets purchased for the buffet or the commencement show

  will not be mailed in advance. Residence hall guests may pick up tickets in

  the residence hall at check-in.  All other guests may pick up tickets at

  the first floor information desk of the G. Burke Johnston Student Center

  adjacent to Pamplin Hall.

 

 

  RESIDENCE HALL LODGING

 

  The lodging package includes single- or double-room occupancy, linen ser-

  vice, and continental breakfast on Saturday morning. Reservations may be

  made for Friday night only, or Friday and Saturday nights. Every attempt

  will be made to assign families to adjacent rooms. Children may be accommo-

  dated according to the regular rate schedule, or may stay in the room with

  parent(s) for no additional room charge (no additional beds are available;

  sleeping bags are suggested).

 

  The accommodations are in student rooms without private baths or air condi-

  tioning. In-room telephone service is local only, with long distance avail-

  able by pay telephone in the building. Some students will still be in

  residence, and student Resident Advisors will be on hand to assist and en-

  sure a pleasant stay.

 

  Although handicapped accessible facilities are available, the buildings are

  not handicapped equipped.  Specific questions regarding accessibility

  should be directed to the Office of Residential and Dining Programs.

 

  Check-in/Check-out information:  Friday check-in: 1:00 pm; Saturday check-

  out: 5:00 pm; Sunday check-out: 11:00 am.

 

  Registration information:  Advance reservations are required, and the full

  amount of payment is due at the time that the reservation is made.  The

  deadline for reservations is Monday, April 1, 1991.  Payment information is

  noted on the order form. Confirmation will be sent upon receipt of the res-

  ervation form and full payment. Cancellation/Refund Policy:  Written no-

  tification of cancellation received by Friday, April 19 will result in a

  full refund. No refunds will be made after April 19.  All rooms reserved in

  advance will be held indefinitely unless notification of cancellation is

  received.  Any requests for additional information should be directed to

  the Office of Residential and Dining Programs, (703) 231-6204. Specific

  concerns should be directed to Gail Kirby, Assistant Director for Residence

  Education.

 

  Ordering Information

 

  By mail - Fill out the order form and send it with payment (personal check,

  Visa or Mastercard) by the deadline to Arts at Virginia Tech, 209 E.

  Eggleston Hall, Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA 24061-0138. Personal checks

  should include address, phone number, and social security number.  In per-

  son - Come by the Arts at Virginia Tech Box Office on the second floor of

  the University Bookstore.  Hours are 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through

  Friday.  To receive your Virginia Tech student discount, a current valid

  student ID must be presented upon receipt of tickets and at the door.

 

  Telephone orders cannot be accepted.  A completed order form must accompany

  all orders.
