  1.  CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCEMENTS:

 

      Carol Burch-Brown, serving as Chair, called the meeting to order at

      3:00 p.m.

 

  2.  The AGENDA was approved as distributed.

 

  3.  The MINUTES of the November 11, 1991 meeting were approved as distrib-

      uted.

 

  4.  COURSE CRITERIA COMMITTEE REPORT  - C. Shoulders

 

      Dr. Shoulders offered for first reading the December 9, 1991 report.  A

      motion was made and seconded to waive first reading for CS 1705-06, In-

      troduction to Computer Science.  The motion CARRIED.

 

      A motion was made and seconded to approve for second reading the Novem-

      ber 11, 1991 report.  The motion CARRIED.

 

      Courses approved effective Fall 1991 :

 

      o   CS   1034 Programming in Pascal (revised)

 

      o   CS   1705-06 Introduction to Computer Science (revised)

 

      Courses approved effective Spring 1992 :

 

      o   CS   1304 Introduction to Computer Science Laboratory

 

      Action on Curriculum Checklists:

 

      o   Computer Science, Graduating Class of 1995

 

      o   Computer Science, Minor, Graduating Class of 1995

 

 

  5.  OTHER BUSINESS

 

      Dr. Spencer asked the status of the UFLE report.  Carol Burch-Brown re-

      sponded that members of the Forum hoped to have the report ready for

      final discussion at the January 27, 1992 meeting.

 

  6.  Meeting adjourned at 3:10 p.m.
