1861, June 25: From: Head Quarters, 5th Brigade. In order to carry out Order No. 17, we are imposing limits on personal baggage herein defined. By order of Col. Cocke. Also enclosed, on same paper: General Order No. 17: All officers of the Quarter Master's department, Prepare to advance at short notice. All troops will be furnished with ten days rations and forty rounds of ammunition. By order of Brig. General Beauregard, Signed: Thomas Jordan.
