"Davy Byrne's, III. No. 21 Duke Street, Dublin," T. E. Kennelly's 1988 Bloomsday Card, was produced in a limited edition of 23 postal cards in celebration of Bloomsday, June 16, the day of Leopold Bloom's odyssey through Dublin in James Joyce's Ulysses.
Transcription:
"He entered Davy Byrne's moral pub. He doesn't cheat. Stand a drink now and then. But in leapyear once in four. Cashed a check for me once."
