The Letters of Felix Voltz, MS 93-021
Welcome to the letters of Felix Voltz, a drummer boy in the 187th New York Volunteer Regiment during the Civil War. His letters to his family describe the rigors of Army life from February - June 1865. His family lived in Buffalo, New York and were upset with his enlistment. Transcriptions of his letters are provided. This collection is held in the Special Collections Department of the University Libraries at Virginia Tech.
