1988 Bloomsday Card
by T. E. Kennelly
"Davy Byrne's, III. No. 21 Duke Street, Dublin," T. E. Kennelly's 1988 Bloomsday Card, was produced in a limited edition of 23 postal cards in celebration of Bloomsday, June 16, the day of Leopold Bloom's odyssey through Dublin in James Joyce's Ulysses.
"He entered Davy Byrne's moral pub. He doesn't cheat. Stand a drink now and then. But in leapyear once in four. Cashed a check for me once."
